Susanna Khouri (Piper Alderman and IMF Bentham – now Omni Bridgeway) and Kevin Ngo (Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan) join the Sydney operations and Sara Dennis (Clayton Utz) and Sarah Adams join the Melbourne office which opened its doors on the 11th February 2019.
Managing Director and co-founder of Augusta Ventures, Neill Brennan, said that he is pleased to expand operations in the Australian market and to attract such experienced senior litigators.

Augusta welcomes Susanna Khouri as Head of Investment Operations – Diligence and Monitoring. Susanna joins from Piper Alderman’s National Dispute Resolution team. Previously she was a Senior Investment Manager at litigation funder IMF Bentham (now Omni Bridgeway) where she spent nine years. She spent 14 years in private practice as a commercial litigation solicitor and was a partner in the DLA Phillips Fox dispute resolution team. During her 28-year legal career, Susanna has worked on high profile class actions against Lehman Brothers Australia Ltd, KPMG, the Commonwealth and the ATO.
We are pleased to welcome Sara Dennis to Augusta’s Melbourne office as an Investment Manager – Commercial. She joins from Clayton Utz where she was Special Counsel in the National Class Actions and Product Liability team and, more recently, she held the role of Senior Legal Project Manager. She has almost 20 years’ experience in private practice with extensive experience in class actions and product liability and Australian consumer law.
We are also delighted that Sarah Adams is joining the Melbourne team as Investment Manager – Diligence. She was previously General Counsel with Vaughan Constructions Pty Ltd. She has over 25 years’ experience in construction and engineering matters having worked in leading construction and engineering practices in the UK, NZ and Australia before moving in-house and working in autonomous roles in a variety of industries, including renewable energy (with REpower Australia P/L) and manufacturing (Orica Australia P/L).
Kevin Ngo joins the Sydney office as Assistant Investment Manager – Diligence. Kevin spent the past two years as an Associate with Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan and was previously at Allens. He has worked on high profile commercial litigation matters including shareholder and consumer class actions, investigating potential class actions, refinancing disputes and contractual disputes.
