The first inaugural conference took place on the 22nd of October 2018 at the Federal Court of Australia in Sydney with around 100 attendees representing law firms, funders and regulators. Notable presenters were Justices Lee, Derrington & Ward. The forum enabled an active debate on the issues being considered by the ALRC including continuous disclosure, funding regulation, civil justice reform and lawyer regulation. A second conference is to be held in Melbourne on the 26th.
